The Carriage House was
built in 1891 as part of a stately residence designed by Philadelphia
architect Angus Wade. In a neighborhood of mostly Philadelphia
"" twins" , the three-story granite house stands out as one of
the few " single" houses built in the area in the late 1800's.
The Carriage House is a short stay """ home away from
home" and offers complete privacy, as well as off-street parking. It is
convenient to downtown Philadelphia, the University Science Center, the
University of Pennsylvania, The University of the Sciences, Drexel
University and all of University City.
